Hello, i`m bartyrocks3. I`m having some trouble with the 3d modeling animation for 3d rad. I am trying to make a character like Andro, but I don`t know what to do! So if you could be so kind to help me with about 15 (all same animation, like walking and sitting and waving) characters I would appreciate it so much, your name will be in the credits as 3d animation. Thank you in advance! I would like the characters to look something like this: I would like: 3 warrior (male) 2 farmer (male) 2 with torn up clothes (male) 2 farmer (female) 2 worker (female) 2 children (male) 2 children (female) It is %100 ok for all of them to have the same walking animation and sitting and waving.

First, Welcome to the forum! That's a hard thing to do... I have to say... Well, humanoids are hard to model too... And I need time if I am ever gonna try... Because I am too busy with projects and stuff... my YouTube channel etc... I can tell you one thing... If you don't get what you want from here, just try and model it by yourself... No matter how horrible the result may be... It takes time...

Thanks for the support. It helps build my confidence. But I don`t even know what software to model it with and how to do this, can I just skin andro somehow?

Yes, you can... Just go to 3D Rad / 3DRad_res / objects / SkinMesh / data / Andro and copy paste the folder...
Rename it as you want (for example: Custom)... Then go to "index" folder... copy and paste the image "Andro" and rename it THE SAME name as previous (Custom)...
Then feel free to edit the files into the "Custom" folder...
For modelling software, I suggest SketchUp because it's the easiest one out there...

You can only edit the bmp file in the folder to make it different... You can't import directX (.x) model into Sketchup...
If you want to model in SketchUp, you have to start from scratch...

there's a sketchup exporter for 3drad, theres a link to it somewhere on the forum and info to install it.
I don't use sketchup so i cant say if the exporter works with current sketchup versions.
The only other option is using any modeler of your choice and exporting or using a format converter.
