you also broke sketchups terms by removing the logos or trademarks from the model. also beware some models are ripped from games, lot's of stuff from halo on there, but some are actual remakes not rips.

Well, I just found the legal documentation of sketch-up regarding use of public models. Sketchup doesnot take responsibility for use of any model in any other form after modification. I have no right to use a model directly. But I do have right to modify the model before using it. And the owner of the original model has IP rights only over his original model not the model I made after modifying his. Look in to the FAQ. SketchUp clearly gives us rights to reuse any downloadable model and modify and even re-upload it.

Here's the notice from: help.sketchup.com/en/article/3000049If I upload a model to 3D Warehouse, am I giving away my intellectual property rights in the model I created? Answer: No, you retain all intellectual property rights you have in the model(s) you create and upload to 3D Warehouse, but you are granting users a right to use your models in a variety of contexts under the terms of the license in the Terms of Use. Can I prevent users from modifying a model I upload to 3D Warehouse? Can I prevent users from uploading that modified model to 3D Warehouse and claiming ownership in the modified model? Answer: No to both questions. You will retain ownership in the original model Can I download a model, modify it and then upload the modified model as my own? Answer: Yes, but note that the unmodified version will still be owned by the original developer. The original developer will also continue to own any unmodified portions of the original model you include in your model. So that's all on my favour! Anyways, I'm not making the NFS 2015 trailer remake. I'm gonna utilize these on my actual project.

yes you can modify, but you still can't remove logo's, it's in the terms. -------------
edit: you may want to read the 'Remixing peoples sketchup models' thread in addons on here too.

I didn't remove the logos. They weren't there in the first place. Look for a blue BRZ model somewhere in ware house you will understand what I am talking about. And I have moved on to a new project, racing but not related to Need for speed or EA or any other game.
