in multiplayer each player will be playing the game on their own computer... so you only need one chase camera linked to the appropriate player... same thing for the car multiplayer test... position the chase cam where you want behind car 0 in the server game... and do the same for car 1 in the client game... it works automatically...

we're talking multiplayer... right... that means that there will be two computers running two different programs...
one computer acting as the server... running the server program...
the other program acting as a client... running the client program that connects to the server...
in the server program the view cam would be linked to and follow the player 0 character mesh...
in the client program the view cam would be linked to and follow the player 1 mesh...

yes... this can work for 4 players... but right now the project is only designed for two players...
to add 2 more players the project for the server would have to be changed to include the 2 additional players, as well as the additional logic and objects for the two additional players...
this is easiest done by
(1) adding the logic and objects for the 2 additional players to the server project and script... (2) convert the existing client project into 3 separate client projects... one for each intended players... (3) adding a general client script that all players would initially go to, and that would exit-fade to the respective client projects...
i think 3DRAD could smoothly and 6 players, depending on the complexity of the game and the amount of network traffic...
i'll zip up the current project so that everyone can take a look... then i'll mod it for 4 players and upload that...
if there is enough interest we can try an internet multiplayer test...
