Well, it doesn't seem like anyone knows how to make a video loading however it is apparentely possible, so how about randomised loading screens, a random picture?

commended - you're missing the point here.. A video, whether you watch it on TV or computer or over the internet are all the same... A video is just a sequence of pictures flashed in front of our eyes at 17.9 FPS minimum and that is what we see as video, MP4 or AVI etc are "containers" for the data and include sound as well in it's own "container" format such as AAC or MP3, OGG. FPS = Frames or pictures Per Second, flashed before our eyes that we see/call a video. PS 17.9 FPS is the cross over speed, where if the video FPS is slower, we may notice flickering of the videos images. 3drad is doing exactly the same thing with animated sprites, and we have the option to adjust the size and number of frames and the speed (FPS) to display them, and that is referred to as animation by 3drad or more properly should be called video. Now you know the secret, i didn't want to reveal it to the world, but you forced my hand.. it's your fault the secret is out.

TinSoldier I know about fps. But in the compiler you will notice there is a loading image option, it is called "Global Loading Image" in the compiler. I want that image to be randomised. Possible?

Only using a launcher that renames a random file then starts the game...

Randomised loading screens? Hmmm...I can't really remember all the functions of Rad.
Why not create a pre set of images with the extension on the end as imageName_01. Then with the iFileCopy function you can create a copy of that file/image in the same folder under a different name. The storing the file name in a array and using reference from that array, delete the old copy of the image withiFileDelete. Now all the images have different names and thus will appear in a different sequence each time.

I agree with F1Andre , basically each time your project runs, rename some files for the loading image, so on next run it will be different I cant remember if multi level project also shows loading screens, if so you could have a random screen per project level too.

i agree NicusorN5 we can do it by running a simple batch script in background. that would be easy
