When I was browsing through pre-made 3d Rad projects. I noticed there is one in particular in which you can move joints in the model's skeleton with the mouse. I there anyway to animate a model into a small sequence?

IDK , to animate a mesh use Blender or FragMotion ...

Uh, I don't think 3DRad can cope with Blender animated files... FragMotion is far better choice.

I already use Fragmotion. I'm just wondering if it would be possible to script an animation on just 3d rad. I like to experiment a lot with 3d rad.

No, you can't. The only Skinmesh that has animations by default is the Andro. Unfortunately, bone animation in 3DRad only, with no help from another software is impossible.

Theoretically you can, it'll just be hard and tedious unless you build an interface on top of 3drad's scripting interface to make it easier for you to do that, also I'm not sure how it'll handle in terms of processing power, But since you mentioned that you liked to experiment, I encourage you to try and tell us how it went. You can start with trying to combining the two tho, like animate in the traditional way and then use scripts to modify the animations at runtime to suit your game state
