yup... pro features are part of the deal... for me that means pro water without the $1500 cost of admission... i know... right... it's a smorgasborg of stuff that most of us will never be able to take the time to learn how to use

Game development is becoming less expensive for developers now which is just great!!! Maybe the unreal engine scheme scared unity and made tham to make the deal, I hope autodesk maya will become free too!! lets hope for it..

all the engine features are free but features like Customizable Splash Screen, Unity Cloud Build Pro - 12 Months, Unity Analytics Pro, Team License, Prioritized bug handling Game Performance Reporting, Beta access are not included in the free version..
And can anyone please tell which is better unreal engine 4 or unity 5

I think Unreal is more advanced... But since I've never worked with such a program I can't tell you exactly...

I think that unreal should be a better option for 3d games and it also uses c++ and it also has the blueprint system which is good for non coders. There are less books available for unreal engine, on the other hand unity 3d can also be used to make 2d games and it has a better asset store and more books and it also uses c# and java script and has some plugins but is graphically weaker than unreal engine which is used to make AAA games too, and now both have different types of royalty methods so can't say which is better for indie developers...
