So in my FPS I want the player to 'die' when his health value print reaches 0 using the Exit-Fade, I've tried using the event on value, setting the value from 0 to -100 and linked all the stuff up. Exit-Fade START. Not working, anyone have any ideas??

I think the values should be:
min : -100
max: 0
and then check 'continuos detection'

You should try using a counter object for the health. Set the increment value to - 10 or whatever the damage value should be.
Then whenever the player is shot or takes damage the counter object is started, and the increment value will be subtracted from the counter value.
Then use the counter value in your event on value object.
Thats the system i use.
Hope this helps

Thank you guys so much for all your input but it still fades out at 0, though thanks to Famer demo, I have found the problem. Each event on contact takes away chunks of the health so it never goes to one, it just skips it and goes to -, so I need to figure out how to set the minimum value to 1, I know this is asking a lot but does anyone know how this can be achieved?

My suggestions are scripted as always...
Link the value that goes from 100 to 0 to a script... Then link the ExitFade...
int time; void Main () { if (IN_0 <= 0) time += 1; if (time == 1) iObjectStart(OBJ_22); } That's the simplest solution I can suggest...

You said you don't have? This is your signature if you don't know: If you try again and again you can achieve the impossible one also.
