Welcome! In this thread, we will come up with any game engine's achievement or wonder and try to do it in 3D Rad. You can challenge in: 1.Graphics 2.Gameplay 3.Menu design 4.Frame rate And you can also come up with any other form of challenge to other game engines. Together we can make 3D Rad's possibilities and achievements multiply. You can vote only after an attempt of challenge. Good luck!

3D rad can achieve the graphics too if the user has the talent

Any engine is only as good as the developer - a well rounded and committed developer in 3DRad will produce something that looks and play better than an untalented, half-hearted developer in Unity/Cryengine

3D rad can compete with any other engine. but the problem is that it's users aren't that "you know"

Yep, the most 3D Rad users are newbs (newbies),i first used 3D Rad 3 years ago.3D Rad can achieve great gameplay and great graphics only if the developer is a great one.So i agree with you WhyNot , cypermethrin . @farmer Main menu is very easy to do witg sprites, exitfades and with a little script (for player name, if needed).

I always liked this menu design from mine and Grim's Rad days, I put a lot of thought into making the menu an experience, even down to the funky exit... as with everything though the game was never finished

I know how to create a menu and all, but sprite animation, I am working on a very good looking menu! I always give the first preference to graphics, because that is the one achieved in seldom.

To everyone 3D Rad is a Great Engine yes it is...!
But in terns of archiving great look graphics in 3D Rad it's nearly impossible because imagine a car model we need to assign a transparent shader to the windows only but in 3D Rad we to separate those car windows of the chassis, what about the sits they don't have to be shining like they are made of plastic which is separating 'em again n' again until the whole chassis is separated...
n' damn the Hierarchy in 3D Rad is very very poor... So their is no way to archive great visuals like in those Mono based Engines...
I'm not dissing 3DRad but that's the truth... You'll end up tired of scrolling down down to link things together instead of grouping 'em (parenting)...
I think that's why Jestermon created parenttochild function were thing get assembled in runtime...
I'm done...

It just needs more work than you Think see in the treasure chest contest I used 5 skin-mesh for the treasure chest only

It just needs more work than you Think see in the treasure chest contest I used 5 skin-mesh for the treasure chest only I suppose that highlights the difference between Rad and Unity graphic methods, mine had 1 skinmesh with texture, metallic, normal, emissive & occlusion maps to do the work (it did look better when rotating in the engine than in the low res still image)

Unity n' 3D Rad graphics methods are really different in Unity you use different materials on one model in 3D Rad you've to split the model... Big difference Bro...
