In loving memory of mikehense ? - 2015
Anyways! I am gonna showcase you a new car that I just created! THE MCLAREN 12C SPIDER! (Which is Thunder 's favorite car) Here's what I added: *A unique camera function*A cockpit view *Realistic physics *Car sounds (used from 3DRad) *A speedometer (if you don't want it, use the mclaren_player_no_speedometer) *Fast! *A PCar! *And blah blah blah blah blah!
Well, I also like the 12C Spider and yet to avoid a copyright strife. FREE! No buts, no royalties. Let me explain why real cars are licensed: People love to drive them and if they drive them in a game, then they will enjoy it without buying and that's why copyright applies to REAL cars. IT'S FOR MONEY!!!
Anyways, you can get it here! (link still uploading but OS restarted because of some form of BSOD)

Not quite, it is about the money though. If someone makes a game where the car is unrealistically rubbish it damages the car's brand, copyright exists to protect assets.
Believe me, enjoying driving a car in a game has no comparison to the real thing, I always loved S2000's in games, eventually bought one and didn't play a racing game for about 4 years afterwards as all the tactile excitement of the real thing was missing. For things you can actually do, real life wins out every time!
nice model by the way, looks nicely low poly, stick a good texture on it and it'll be sweet

Or use a game simulator with a steering wheel and pedals (with force feedback).
