hahahahaa... thx GD... yeah, so do i so far i'm only just finishing the proof of concept phase... making sure the logic is sound on the server, for only the server vehicle and a single target... it seems to work... so the next step is to replicate vehicle zero to vehicle 1 and 2 on the server... then, on the client just replicate the skinmeshes and the shoot event... finally, gotta set up a scoring and damage system so that each player takes damage and "dies" when damage is 100%... and some logic that to reset the player... will do some work on it today... sorry... nothing new to test yet... --Mike

spent an hour yesterday re-figuring out how the ValueBar object works so i could implement and test health and reload time indicators... doing some work on it now...
questions:
(1) should player take multiple hits or get killed by a single hit? (2) should damage slowly self heal after a hit, or should it stay until player dies?

Ya I like the method of self health generation and multiple hits to kill it's used in most of the modern games too so that will be cool and it will also benefit high pingers like me

self healing it is... already coded and working (testing on one vehicle so far, using hits on others to set server player damage)... also, just finished implementing and testing multiple hits (testing as above)... got server almost done... sorry Heat, no rotating turret or gun... easy to do in single player, but a pain in multiplayer... we might visit that at a later time, but i just wanna get this finished quickly so others can use it as a template for their own projects... we should be shootin each other tomorrow --Mike

sorry for the delay... real world commitments really messin with my time...
server logic cleaned up and done... scoring system not yet implemented... working on logic and code to integrate kill messages with chat so that whenever someone is killed, a humiliating chat message will pop up...
working in between some legal stuff that has to be done...
