Hey again!
I was wondering how I could go about making an object seem metallic or 'shiny' in 3Drad. Is this a setting that would take place in the engine itself, or is it something I need to do with the model before it is imported? If so, does anyone have any idea how I could go about it?
Again, sorry for such newbie questions!
Kind regards, Solis

You have to import skinmesh for the object. Then in 3D Rad select the rigidbody of the object and insert a skinmesh object, disable the visibility of the rigidbody. Go to the skinmesh settings and set shader and enviroment mapping. Simple huh!

Oh that's awesome thanks! Right before I checked this I found the meshes and shaders, but I hadn't found the environment maps! Thanks so much!

Hi . One way ive found to make models shiny ,when using normal maps. Is to increase the contrast of your normal map, or just make it darker. But remember to have a backup of the original normal map. Its kind of a dodgy trick , but it works. Discovered this by mistake

Discovered this by mistake well, that is obvious, the more lighter it gets the more shiny it will look, but this is not the best way to do it, there are lots of drawbacks of this way, like when light falls more on one side the, or when looking at the map from a distance, so the shader way is the right way to do it and also adding specular maps to enhance the look
