I create a game,
Compile it,
click the .exe,
wait for it to load,
1/4 way through my laptop says "3D Rad Player has stopped working"

Hmm, never had this issue before. What Windows are you on? XP, 7, 8 etc?
I can think of a couple thing's I would do straight away:
- Run as Administrator
- Right Click > Properties > Compatibility > Check: "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and then select Windows 7 is applicable. If not, try them all!

I think the best person to help you is NicusorN5 because he is developing 3D Rad Space v1.0 and most likely using Visual C++ or similar and this error report looks like that kind of problem. He might be able to help you bro. I have an alpha tester that is on Win 8.1 and he has no issues with the 3D Rad Player.

Most likely the crash cause was the dll3impact file , that contains most of the 3DRad functions... I only had that kind of crashing whes i was using a modified dll3impact(some GUI things) or by modified objects dlls... Reinstalling works fine for me... You may send us the projects in a ZIP/RAR/7z file , too see what is crashing the file. In the most projects , i had crashed from RigidBocy imposters and Transform object... GH Games 3DRadSpace is made in XNA , more exactly in Visual Studio 2010 C# Express ... T's kinda easy to make a program in it, but I don't spend all time working on it because I'm unable to call a function from Game1.cs in any object (that thing is one of the most important things to do)... EDIT Maybe do it using a "Refresh project" button ,you should use it every time you add a object :V

Oh I see, I use Express 2015 to create some basic Forms, but I'm no good haha. I have never used 2010, is is less complex? I'll take a look at it.
Edit: I'm downloading it now...

To be honest I don't like the 2015 version. The setups take way way way to long to load and the actual thing takes up a huge amount of space on every drive. Is the one your using easier to use?

Hi replace each object with a standard 3DRAD object starting with the skinmesh.
If you have in your game a text file or any other not standard objects you must include them manually after the game has been compiled. 3DRADs compiler doesn't have any way of including these objects so it is up to you to make sure they are included after it is compiled.
Its not the compiler, after using the compiler for many years with XP, Vista and now 7 I have always found the problem to be with me.
These below are the usual errors, you must have a:-
Non-standard object
faulty skinmesh or other objects
script fault, like array over flow
Hope this is of some help

i used ProcessMonitor by sysinternals to find and fix the fault, i won't tell you as you should learn how yourself:
-create a filter for files and your game only -run game to crash -look at results column for errors, most are ignored, but eventually you find the odd one out before a windows error process is started. -correct the error

Just for future reference, sharing a compiled project that crash's ( i didn't try it myself ) is of no use to us , the problem is with the source project ... PS you mite have missing resources, 3drads compiler doesn't move everything to the compiled folder, like external custom text files that your project mite have created and or requires to start up.. Also reinstalling 3drad over top of your current install, never hurts because it refreshes all of 3drads files and wont change or effect your custom objects and resources, and it mite even fix your problem if any files have been corrupted.

it was of use to me, i got to test my troubleshooting skills on it and got it running without crashing. probably overkill for a small game like this, but a much needed skill once a game has hundreds of objects to trace, but someone should figure it out even without using ProcessMonitor.
