This question is so confusing, but I suppose the demo project you're looking for is CharacterNoMouseDemo.3dr Attachments:CharacterNoMouseDemo.3dr (262.61 KB)

Sorry i was trying to confuse you but what i was saying was how do i setup a character to where if the camera looks one way the character runs in that direction and if the camera looks somewhere else the character runs in that direction
For example my camchase looks at a rock the character runs into the rock

I still don't know what you're talking about. Is the camera facing down the terrain? And why should the character follow the camera's look locaton at all?

Sorry again my apologies ok so its a 3rd person character setup and the idea is that you can run wherever the camera faces so that when you push forward the character goes away from the camera and If you turn your camera left then your character begins running directly away from its camera to always be oriented in a Forwards direction as the camera can be used to turn but what im trying to get is all that wothout the use of a mouse Is that better? Im sorry sometimes i have a hard time explaining things The end result is a character that goes in what ever direction the inputs tell it and not rotating left or right instead it actually goes left and right based on the cameras orientation

isn't that just 1st person view behaviour? solution: use FP cam
still want FP-like TP cam? then spend time trying to script it
don't know how to script that? then wait for someone to do it for you or find a demo project for it...

Well i was thinking more along the lines of making a pathfinder style ai that chases an object attacted to the camera s center i litterally just came up with the idea a few hours ago but am unsure of a proper setup... Like how do i make the pathfinder stick to the middle of the view port and be a set distance away... Would i use a script ir attschcan invisible rotatinf skinmesh to the pathfinder and set the ai aglfter it that way
