Hey guys, I've made something in Blender. I got someone's feedbacks... Guess who? Pteragon! He gave me a lot of feedback, for example, the border of the board was very glossy... Too bad I didn't notice it , he did... Software: Blender Renderer: Cycles Samples: 768 Render time: More than 2 hours Editor: Adobe Photoshop CS6

I think you should work on the borders of the board. They're really rough (as if made out of a grinding stone) and they're smooth shaded (makes it look kinda weird. Try bevelling the edges

Unfortunately I can't do it... Because my computer's CPU nor GPU can handle the render quality and settings since I started using "Filmic Blender"
The wallpaper was rendered with sRGB

It doesn't make any sense to render it at such high sample rate. 200 should be enough.

Actually this was my first test render which had 256 samples.

Anything to say about it?

I said that it had 256 samples which is not enough to make a good enough...

Did you use a portal on the window where the light is coming from for it is an indoor scene. The portal will reduce the noise drastically.

Nice. I like your overall skills. you've managed to convey the scene in a pleasant way. model , textures , lighting, and renders all look good . the only thing I can say is that you can start getting used to setting up scale in your scenes. maybe add a humanoid character , and then scale the rest of the scene realistically according to your humanoid character. that way , when you add a wall , it doesnt come out like a wall in a hobbits house. Its just something to consider , when working with 3d scenes. And you might find that once youve set up the scale of your models , you can get good and relevant , camera angles , shots, heights, focal distances , depth of fields and so on. good job, keep at it.
