Then someone needs to explain to me what iFloatInterpolate() is. I can post the buttons but if I don't know what or how to use iFloatInterpolate() I can't explain to you how to use the joystick till I know this.

Okay give me 10 minutes, apperantly you don't need the dll for the buttons. But any ways, I got it working and I will post al my findings, I am still figuring out what number of the iJoyButtonDown(0,1) (I am refering to the 1) relates to the certain key on the xbox remote. It will safe you time and would be nice for other people to use it.

I have bad news, I tried almost everything and could not get the the LT and Rt to work with both the iJoyButtonDown() and the dll. I have another trick up my sleeve and will see if that works.

Nevermind that trick didn't work. You can still use the configure controls if you want t use the LT and LR

That D pad is not functional with 3DRAD and I am not sure about the joysticks bit the only way to use that DPAD is with the DLL.

I don't know about the trouble you guys are having the analog sticks works perfectly for me and so do every other button on a ps3 controller with the configure controls tool. I didn't tried it with an Xbox 360 controller but the result should not be much different.

Maybe the ps3 works, but here we are talking about XBOX360 pads and those controllers don't work well, buttons not recognised, joysticks, LT+RT with 3d rad!!!

Maybe the ps3 works, but here we are talking about XBOX360 pads and those controllers don't work well, buttons not recognised, joysticks, LT+RT with 3d rad!!! doooooooooooood!!!!! your thread freaked me the heck out! shocked_4 but the x360 works flawlessly with the configure controls object, i just tested myself - just need to press backspace, then hold LT while backspace again - as they are proportional buttons! sticks and digital buttons work too! even though u assign an analog button it will perform as digital unless u make an analog script for it, and pressing LT-RT at same time ingame will void each other as that is 0.5 on same axis instead of 0 or 1 when pressed individually. nerd_emoticon as for ps3, if it works in windows control panel it will work in 3drad too but needs an app for that.

What app?

no app needed for 360, as for ps3 that is not for this thread but i used MotioninJoy ages ago, likely better apps now, but 3drad supports ANY control device that windows recognizes, so 360 has NO problems except user ones!

You could just use the ConfigureControls object for simplicity...

You could just use the ConfigureControls object for simplicity... i did, and am, it is the OP who had the problems not me, and my reply tells how to do just that without all the confused scripting and dll nonsense from other replies, it was a simple problem that became alarmingly over-complicated likely due to misunderstanding what the OP meant. edit: the scripts/dlls may be usefull for using analog triggers etc? but are not needed if you just want to use them as buttons.
