I would really like to help, I'm just to busy. I don't have time to start from scratch, search the internet for old 3D RAD fps games and some small stuff that will help. I will help on some scripts if you have attempted something, so that there is something to work on. But to help you start, I will suggest you start plotting things down on what the AI character should or must be able to do. Oh yeah and the are some auto turret topics in the old forum and a a project somewhere on the internet that will chase you(a zombie that actually chases you). I don't know how the AI is going to move about the obstacles but it is just a base plan.
Oh and I also have an old Call of Duty map that I made about 1 year back. It is extremely detailed(the textures), it might be a performance issue but if you work smartly you cab get around it. Just let me know if you're interested in the model.
Yeah, except the about 5 cars, some trees in the background and the little canisters on the ground. And thank you, I worked on it for about 4 months non stop, it was part, well not part it was a school project.
It is not really about the modeling in this model, but it is the textures you use. You can have the crapiest model but if you texture it right, you will get amazing results. The edges are usually the problem but you just have to darken the edges a lil bit, so that the textures will seem as one, rather than two textures. Use a photo shop program, or get texture packs from the interenet, there are tons of them.
It,s been a while atfer i did post about the powpoly thing.Im working at the character costumization and this game will have the ability to bulid and save your map.The models except the weapons will be cubic (LIKE IN MINECRAFT).I also planned multiplayer .
