WhyNot, DedTed, I already said that even if you don't make it to the next round, you're still winners... Because you dared to join and try... And you learned something from that... (Unlike others that can, but don't) I was actually really nervous while opening the radguy's contest entry after he really challenged me... Well, at least, you learned your lesson anyway...

impressive, but it seems not all of them [if any?] were rendered in rad, would be good to see a showcase of what rad can do, rather than different modeling software/other engines.

I think rendering in Rad would be a bit more Time consuming so unlike previous I rendered in blender(previously I rendered in RAD)

you are right indiedev, we should render using the software we use to make games, that is why i used unity to render just to gain more experience

indiedev , I think I've said it many times... We're focusing on modelling at the moment... Not all members are game developers... Giving a quick example here with Thunder and Pteragon... It's a fundamental part of game development to learn how to properly create a detailed premium looking model from scratch by themselves... You should probably know by now that a game without good content is bad (don't point out the gameplay, I know it)... And we've seen them everywhere... 3D Rad members never focused on detailed modelling... The project either fails to be released or fails to look good due to bad modelling...

Just a side note here. IndieDev creating and setting up lighting in a renderer is much more time consuming and I'm not even mentioning the hours it takes to render the actual image.

Lighting can take a little time in some cases.
