originally made by genetransfer, Power Supersport said almost a year ago he 'Maybe will share it soon' so this is a reminder and also a request for anyone else who may have it, video link here: point light soft shadowswould be very useful since the native point lights don't support volumetric shadows, and i was only just thinking today how cool it would be to have headlights in a dark tunnel casting shadows, then remembered it won't work so gave up - then i find out about this plugin!

That would be pretty cool to have yes, I used to have it on my older PC, I don't think I have it anymore tho. While we wait tho, if you don't want shadows from animated skinmeshes, and only have one light source, you can always use a sunlight object

You could've considered reminding me by a personal message... Why should it be public? And the same way, why should I post the addon? Yes, I probably forgot that I even mentioned this addon, but seriously, this addon is not my only global and important concern... Have some respect... Here is what I've got... It's broken on my machine, I don't know how it will display on yours...

PS, thanks for the addon, i have a lot of respect since you are the one who made/maintains this great community, and also have alot of helpful knowledge. i thought it would be better public as the rest of the community could benefit from the addon also, and since it was originally likely public on the old rad forum i thought nothing of it, but sorry if i offended. so it opens fine on my pc, but the notes require to paste code from 1 script to another for it to work, i have included these below so you and others will now be able to access the code by loading them in the script object. i have not tested yet, as it's also not a priority for me right now, but if i get it working one day i will share it here if that's ok.

the project worked for me but you need to do 2 things first you need to copy & paste the "Script: Reference Soft-Shadow HLSL code" shader code ( in blue ), paste into the "Script: Shader NormalMap PL SS Ind UV" script, add it at the beginning, right under the top text description. Also in the "SkinMesh:Ground (Enabled EnvMap, Refresh Rate 75)" set the shader to "0009 emissive" first, then check the [*] use custom shaders box. or download this version already setup to run PS you can play with the shaders or leave it set to default before selecting "use custom shaders" if set to default 3drad complains. I set mine to 0009 emissive .. it effects the texture shown on the ground plain. The shadows produced don't realy do much for me, but if your into it, they do work, just watch the bright light spot on the right side as andro and the ball move past and you'll see a shadow type of effect happen. thanks tin, but u better stop being so helpful all the time or u may get banned from the new rad forum too!
...it's gonna need some more work though, as the andro tex replaces the surface texture even when replacing the water with a floor mesh

Thank you for your understanding... It's just too much work lately and I can't handle it in time... I am glad that you were able to fix the project file... About TinSoldier, I will never ban a helpful member... TinSoldier is also a verified member, which means that he deserves it somehow... I encourage all of you to be helpful... It is never unnoticed...
