As the title told you, I had a fake virus... or made it, actually. No worries, it doesn't do any harm to your computer or e.t.c... Why do I post it? Because it taught me a lot about programming... Please tell me if you can't open it.

Wait a second? Why should I download a virus? People try to get rid of them, you're creating one? What a bad person! Just kidding! I will see if I can open the file, but... Before I do, can you tell me what it will do?

I know that trick... I made a Matrix effect in cmd that way... Really funny! It filled my entire desktop with text files.... A friend of mine tried it at school... He spammed calculators on the teacher's computer... The teacher was shocked!

I did this too many moons ago, but the first was a Trojan Horse designed to format my 5.25" floppy disk.. I did this intentionally because i was learning how DOS stored data on floppy disks , it was not intended to do harm and was never shared.. It wasn't till years later when virus's and trojans started showing up intended to harm others computers that i put 2 & 2 together and realized what i had done at the time, but mine was designed as a utility to automate cleaning a disk up for more experiments. My second involved a device driver that changed the default font used under DOS.. I was taking a course called "computer interfacing to the real world" , it involved bread-boarding diodes to the computers serial ports for instant feedback, then using an assembly language program to control the diodes. So anyway, on the last day of class i edited the autoexec.bat file on the teachers computer to install the new font .. the funny part of this was, the font was a joke type font that was very hard to read, and it should have been install to all 15 computers in the class, even the teachers computer, because they were all networked together so the teacher could watch and / or help us from his computer. I wasn't around to see or enjoy my joke PS i did get a passing grade on the course, and don't know if he figured out who did it..
