This has been one of the most amazing contests ever on the forum... We have 5 participants in total... And I am witness of an inspiring, awesome and professional work... I hope you think so too...
The results are just amazing!
So, how the contest resulting will go? I don't want this to become some kind of battle for a first place... I want this to be an inspiring event where you - members can see and be inspired by other people's work... And then try and make something better, or gain some skill and experience...
The main purpose of the contest is to develop yourself!
Now, what I will ask you is to vote for the 2 chests you like the most... The votes will not be visible... I will think about if I will make them visible, but the votes will be feedback for the creators... And I would also like you to write down a short review of one or more chests... Tell us why you like it... Or why you don't... We're all learning and your feedback will be appreciated...
So the things you have to do are: - Vote (Participants CAN vote for their work too)... - Write a review (Participants can write review of other participant's work)...
In no way you must expose your name and which work is yours! Keep this a secret until the voting is ended!
And the part you were waiting for - the results!
EDIT: The participants are now visible...
Like if you want me to design the posts like this one... I put so much effort in it...
I am amazed of all of you, guys! You all nailed it in that contest! Number 1 is insanely modeled just needs a bit of a texturing, and it will be ready for use in a professional game. I like number 5 too. It is modeled nicely and optimized amount of faces, but the texturing is ludicrously nice! These two nailed it in my opinion.
That number 2 beach sand scene looks like it belongs as a wallpaper on your pc. I'm definitely saving that image. Maybe when all of this is over you can make it into a nice wallpaper for the Walpaper section on the forum.
No1 has an immense amount of detail, the chain is a fantastic addition, maybe not game friendly poly-wise but that wasn't the point of this, with some good texturing that would be a masterpiece
No5 truly shows the power of both texturing and also use of shaders, a great piece of work - in model form it looks average, rendered it looks real
The winner doesn't matter, they're all good and it shows what a little effort can do, I hope it inspires others to join in the next competition, get something done and shown off on the forum - well done all!
omg this stuff is amazing, it really gave me a hard time to choose.. each one of them are unique , i would've voted all of them if i had the chance good job guys, i think i will participate in the next one as well

Opus est nobis Leonardus Vincius, Ferrari.
Just joking! Ferrari is not actually founded by Leonardo da Vinci. Enzo did it! Anyways! What?! #1 is a CryEngine model. Praise the Blender users! (Even though I use Sketchup all of the time) #3 is just a textured model. Every Blender user models very very good. I also thought that Orangemacmcould model a treasure chest.
