You have to use "Waypoints" over the lap and the corners.

After a " fracas" with a noob. I decided to give him respect, as you may know, I am one of the laziest 3DRad users yet in the world. RESPECT IS THE KEY. NOT RAGE. I just got nicked by a moderator. Happy cheers phenomv2! (I am not very good when it comes with British slang, I started learning slangs from the UK) Well as I told you in the original post. Use Event on Locations. Here's the eoldemo.3dr (113.64 KB)!

phenomv2 - ensure the waypoint is scaled to be much bigger than the area your car will go through like in the tutorial so you can't miss it (remember height too - through the floor and into the air), its either that or links which is the problem, the method definitely works so it IS something you did incorrectly - double check everything and never assume you did something right... check it again Das Uberstein - not a very encouraging post, we all have to start somewhere, remember to some people you are still a noob

Guys, I didn't put my signature so randomly! It MEANS something. Don't quit guys, it won't be easy but you have to continue! I hope that you find the solution soon phenomv2 . (I'm saying this not because I'm lazy to help you but because all I know about 3DRad laps was written). And Das Uberstein that isn't encouraging! I know that it's hard to work with newbies but don't screw them up like that.

Well, way back years ago i learned to program in B.A.S.I.C, the process i used was to play with sample projects and make edits to see what happens.
That's basically how i learned, as i made mistakes, i read the help files and learned how to do it right.
3Drad is no different, there is a included race project i believe that has vehicles and way points and timers.. everything already setup for a race project.
It has everything in it that you're having problems with..
Maybe you should play with that project to figure out how the pieces work together, so you can apply that to your project..
Trial and error.. that's how you learn.
If you never make mistakes, you either know everything already, or you'll make mistakes and learn from them.
Go forward and break everything, then fix it and learn...

Please do, and don't give up. A few years back I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting collision on a skinmesh lol, trust me though. If you keep on tryying it does work! I have never failed before but it did take me months to figure out some things.

I UNDERSTAND! OMG... Like seriously... Now I remember why the problem is happening... It happend to me once, but I forgot about it... Read carefully... The waypoints in the hierarchy (the side panel with the objects) have to be in a proportional position with the actual lap... I messed it up... So, for example, you have 4 waypoints (look at the painting)... They have to be arranged the same way into the side panel with the objects Just like this... Waypoint 1 Waypoint 2 Waypoint 3 Waypoint 4 If you do: Waypoint 1 Waypoint 3 Waypoint 4 Waypoint 2 Or any other kind of variation, you will mess up the laps... I hope you understand...
