Hi all, on my FPS project (coming 2017) I wish to copy and paste all the objects used on my enemy so I can create multiple and tweak easily without having to create the whole thing again, I tried duplicating a group with all the objects linked but all it does is create a new group with no reference objects! Please help and thank in advance...

I have only one suggestion currently, because 3D Rad doesn't have component system like sketchup...
Use script to change the objects' parameters... That's the only possible way currently... Just connect all the objects that need to be synced and set their outputs...

Hi commended Merg is an easier way of duplicating things. If you have developed something in a game like a car and you want to duplicate it just save the project under another name first for example Merg_object name.3dr. I have created an Merg folder inside the project folder to keep them separate from other project files.
Next delete all the other things in the project that are not required for your car object and re-save the file. You don't want to include things that will be unnecessarily duplicated in the project. For example a non player vehicle you don't want to include a Path or Race Tracker etc that all the cars might use.
To include your merg file into a project you open the Project menu select Merg then browse for your file and select it. It will load into your project at the bottom of the object list. You can also load it into any other project if you want to use it in.
It is a simple way to build a collection of objects you have developed and use them later. virtually the same as Addons but a little simpler.
