I like it... As a beginner in Sketchup it's pretty damn good... I did the same when I was a noob in skp, but skp is a great program and you will love it... BTW, Sketchup combined with blender gives AWESOME results... When I succeeded importing my skp model into blender it was great! GREAT! I love how Cycles renders... It's just purity for free... All other pro renderers like V-Ray, Indigo etc cost money... Much money... But Cycles is free... And that's the damn cool thing about it... Starting using blender too... For lighting and rendering purposes... Still my fav tool for modelling will remain SketchUp because it's simple and does 1 hour job in 10 minutes... But Blender will finish off my work by putting the professional lighting stuff...

I got the DEMO (NOT LITE). Demo is with 3 skies but they are enough and useful for some renders. NOTE: The premium has 80 skies even space! Also I forgot to mention thet I used bump map vector node. (You forgot to send me the textures and I got my own in this one. Your materials were absolutely unsorted. Also use PURGE in SketchUp).

I forgot to mention that the image you saw was edited with the Blender compositing mode. Watch the difference! This image is without any compositing.

There haven't been posts here for so long that I decided to warm the things up a little in the Blender Board. Here are two quick wallpapers of mine. Hope you'll like them.

This is awesome, dude! I pretty much like the boat... Maybe a little bit more details like lillypads, some rocks etc... Just to enhance the overall look... The second one is good too, but you have to improve your ciry building skills... Don't worry... Just continue to try and you will get better and better...

Thanks for the support and the advice, Power Supersport , always appreciated! And, how do I improve my city building skills?

I think I mentioned it... Just build and build... You will get better and better...
Aside that you can observe how the buildings in real are structured, look into details... And try to improve your skills based on vision...

You could add more details on the boat (because it's small). I like more the city but there could be done more on the buildings.
Did you use ProLightingSkies?
