Hi. A few weeks back I was busy with some testing and realised that there are no reflections or shadows on the map(F1 Circuit). So I spent some 5 hours trying about everything I could think of including: every possible settings(that I know of), exporting shadow map(shadow.x file), Putting fake sun; pointlight; scripted a flashlight and nothing worked. I used a rigid body with a skinmesh overlay as this will grant me the ability of adding textures to the F1 Circuit. Oh and then comes the second problem. I have some metal objects(very big) with reflection capibilities but yet nothing is reflected on this surface even after enabling "visible in reflections"(note that I can see the skybox in reflection but that is all that is visible in the reflection). Does any one have some ideas or word of advise. If there's a way to script every single little shadow tell me, I'm willing to go the extra mile for that shadows or reflections.
Thank you

I think you should first render it with giles it will give you most of the shadows you need. And then exporting it to 3drad

1.)You have THE "mesh_shadow.x" file? 2.)You have put a shader on your skinmesh?

Giles or Gile is the best light map creating software for 3drad in the whole universe. I will uplad the giles file tomorrow with a link on how you can use it.. you can't download it from its website so I will share it

i agree... Giles rocks for lightmapping... try it out... also, don't forget to try checking the environment map and adjusting the reflection and the refraction properties for reflective metals... and take a look here www.3drad.com/forum/index.php?topic=7879.15
