I'm currently working on a new indie horror game based on Ben Cocuzza's (Puppet Combo / Pig Farmer Games) Minotaur & Power Drill Massacre. I'm naming it "Psycho Night", and It takes place in 1997. The game is similar to a 90's VHS slasher, and let's you play as a female protagonist struggling to survive a crazed killer. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I need Ideas, and more inspiration from people who are interested. Cool concept! I would suggest some texture variations , maybe some different types of grime or grunge textures on the walls. I think if you use shadows in a creepy and clever way , that will also add atmosphere
But its a good start. Checkout the broken house contest results for inspiration , I think it will help.

Yes, the game is on 3d Rad. And if you would like to help me in some way, then please email me. (basichazardent@gmail.com)
The game has gotten better, as well as my skin in modeling. I am placing video cutscenes (made in anim8or). As well as voice acting, and It's own soundtrack.
I honestly find it really hard to make a game within skill and the amount of time I scheduled for a teaser release. I am supposed to add a teaser demo in august.

Its good to have a defined goal to achieve in a certain time, I remember checking out your stuff on site some time ago, Would love a horror game built in 3drad. A Small suggestion, if you can add some small meshes where the spikes come out of the body to act as wounds and torn flesh, it would help the players accept what has happened better, as the detail would logically make sense in their minds.

Sorry for not uploading in a VERY long time. I have some bad and good news about Psycho Night. Bad News: Psycho Night will no longer be continuing development within 3DRad. Good News: Psycho Night is still in development (Within Unity), and has gotten better. ___________________________________ I now have my own website that contains a Dev Blog for updates. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like in Unity. It's a bit unfortunate to say, but its better than what it was in 3dRad.

It shouldn't be unfortunate... There's a reason for you to move to Unity... If it was the opposite, I bet you would've stayed with 3D Rad...
There's nothing bad in game engine switching... 3D Rad was a real good foundation for you, but it can't be forever... Especially when the engine is deprecated...

I know, but I really feel like I could have made it this far with 3D Rad. I just would've had to spend a lot more time on it though. However I cannot spend that long of a time trying to advance.
I do hope at least that you all enjoy the concept and development of Psycho Night.

Don't waste time... If you get the hang of Unity, just go with it... My personal advice...

Alright, thank you guys. Since this is no longer related to 3DRad, I will have to make another thread in the Unity section.
