To pause a game: I tried whit stopping GForce : your car will fly... I tried with iSimulationFrqSet(0); :the car will "blow up" (the simulation physics got errors... ) I tried with both : 3D Rad stopped working ...

To pause a game: I tried whit stopping GForce : your car will fly... I tried with iSimulationFrqSet(0); :the car will "blow up" (the simulation physics got errors... ) I tried with both : 3D Rad stopped working ... That happens to me too, I decided for now to set it to 0.01 in my own game-in-development, making the cars super slow while you access the menu. Kind of a cool idea from my perspective, as it keeps you glued to the computer screen since you can't pause it for a while without having to restart the race. (The only problem being that the traffic cars don't slow down since they are controlled by a script XD) Another thing, I'm having trouble with tire smoke effects. It seems that if the car goes faster than 2-3 meters per second, the particles become very spread out and hard to see. I tried to mess around with particle effect settings, but nothing seemed to work.

Do you want some video tutorials, made by me for these stuff? It always seems that it's hard to explain, but drifting is pretty easy to make, pausing has an option to be done, and particle spreadouting has a solution...
Just tell me and I will fill my channel with a tutorial per day...

I am good with menus. What you need to do is when you press your menu pause button, make the cars uncontrollable and make a mouse cursor show up. To do this add a event on input. In the event on input, make it disable the cars ai and take your control away. Tell me if this helps for the pause menu Tip: use z to pause and x to un-pause! works best! You can check out the menu I make in my project here: Click here to download the project.
