hi Ariablurton98 welcome to the forum what error are you getting? a screenshot might help and what are your system's specifications?...this could also be a direct x problem or c++ runtime problem

What GFX card are you using? What version of 3D Rad are you using?

try installing C++ 2005 package Also make sure you have direct X updated and you should be fine. Also it wont hurt to re-install 3drad over top of your current installation location, this will renew all of 3drads files and you wont loose any of your custom projects or objects.

Do anyone of you read what 3D Rad's installation says? Do you follow every single step? I needed to post finally, because it's not because of the computers... If you really have a new PC it mustn't have any problems running 3D Rad... The problem is that you don't read carefully what the installation program tells you... Install these even if you may think that you have newer version of them... *The broken link repaired! dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/x9ycsuq1pr38kmy/dxwebsetup.exe (This link is working)

..oddly enough, i think u are better off upgrading your old laggy machine, as 3drad editor runs much better on my 2Gb dual core winXP (gt9500 '09) than on my 4Gb quad core win7 (gt640 '13) which lags badly even though it's using the same gt640 GFX card i originally had on winXP! - is this an issue with newer nvidia hardware physX driver? i don't know, and i am yet to try using AMD gfx with software physX to find out.
one issue with compiling on XP is that it may crash on win7, so i edit on XP and compile on 7. the compiled game runs at max FPS at 1080p on 7 but lags on XP, so editor and compiled game has huge perfomance differences.

lol, i just tried my AMD's R7 apu gfx on win7, and above compile/performance issues are gone!
whether this is hard/software related remains to be seen, but definitely gfx or physX caused it [no thanks to nvidia!]

i just did a new win10 64bit install, and only 2 installs i needed to run rad was: DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) the links above on the 1st page were also correct. but the file name 'directX 9.0c' is not and it will fail to install on win7+ as that's from 2007 rather than the 2010 version, which includes runtimes for directX 9,10 & 11.
