Yep. If It's not extruded like that, it won't be deformed by the bone. Other way is the subdividing, but the weights aren't correct when it's only subdivided.

Hi! I was trying to make SkinMesh for 3D Rad in Blender 2.76. When I exported as *.x file, in 3D rad shows no colours or materials. Did I miss something?

Well, actually I don't know how to do it. I use blender for animations. I don't export my models anywhere. I supose you could export your model in Sketchup and then export it in 3drad... i think that will work.

Sketchup v7 with 3D Rad exporter works just fine, and 3DS max too.....but I want to use free only programs such as Blender, Gimp, Inkscape. As I understand if I want to sell the game later even if only for 50 cents, it must be made either with purchased tools, licenced to me, or free tools. I guess the best solution in my case would be homemade plugin for 3D Rad that works with free Sketchup Make.

First, you should upgrade to Scetch Up 2016. It's awesome. BTW I think Scetch Up is easier for modelling than Blender. And did you went to "Project\Install custom SkinMesh/RigidBody\(object name in which name will be named the folder) and then replace with the .x?

Just checked my YouTube Blender tutorial for Vertex Paint and it has got 4 dislikes I just went awesome when I saw 113 views. I'm so disapointed of myself. Please answer and say your opinion...

I think the reasons of the dislikes are: First, you were modeling in the tutorial. Model in modeling tutorials. Second, you used Notepad. For nice tutorials, use microphone. Third, this tutorial is made after you watched ANOTHER TUORIAL about the same thing, isn't it? Make tutorial if you DISCOVER something, which no one else has known before you. That's my opinion and these are the reasons why I've stopped making tutorials. But, let me tell you something. You're a very fast learner. I've said it before, I'll say it again: You will soon be more skilled than me! So, don't give up, and remember. Don't get upset if your work is disliked. If something gets famous, there will ALWAYS be RETARDS to dislike it, because someone gets better than them.

Thanks for your support Pteragon! Actually I haven't watched tutorial and remaked it. When my first tutorial about vertex paint didn't work I was trying to find a way to fix it when suddenly I figured it out and posted it again. I was so disappointed when I saw the dislikes, I was just happy I saw 113 VIEWS. From other side even I have done that - I find useful tutorial and just forget to like it but when I started making videos I don't forget to leave a like at a useful tutorial
