Creating a multiplayer FPS again, but this time with a much more serverbased system. This means that movement, hitregistration and a lot more is done on the server, while the client is only seing a visual presentation of what happens on the server and sends input. The client still does the orientation and sends the quaternion to the server because it isn't input-, but is mouse-based.
I achieved 3 player multiplayer earlier today, and later 10 player support. Here's some early footage from youtube.
Update 1
Added arms and head orientation. Added client-side shooting. Started working on server-side shooting.

Welcome ! ! ! I remember you, RadReaper... I really was thinking will you ever find us... I'm glad that you came here to our community... I also really like your project that you're workin' on... This will be great for FPS multiplayer games... As I see, there is no glitching while the character moves... I mean glitch happens sometimes in 3D Rad multiplayer games because slow sync... But I am looking forward to your live release!

Thanks friends! It's good to be back. I know what you are talking about, Power. Networking can be a pain to work with in 3D Rad, especially if you are trying to make something big like me... Here is a new video btw:

Yes, I like the video... About the 3D Rad community... We're still trying to save 3D Rad from complete death...We know that Unity is now the leader, but 3D Rad still remains the foundation of 3D game making... And again, thanks for joining! Every single member is completely welcome... and even more when he has potential or questions...

This is a test project? At the moment yes, but it will evolve into a final version of some sort of multiplayer game. Also gonna release the source at some stage when the test project is bugfree, so you guys can make your own themed MP game. A little update btw. Here is the first screenshot of 1stPerson view. Also added the possibility to switch view between 3rd and 1stPerson view. Edit: Was just wondering if anyone here is good at making muzzleflash particles, and could make some for me if so?

Early look at the first map for the game. Map consists of a big mountain with a cliff named: Sniper cliff. You will for example be able to snipe other players in the town. More about the weapon system coming soon.

Very nice one... SketchUp? Nah, I use an easier piece of software called game maker terrain editor 2. Smooth texture transitioning and far cry'ish terrain deformation is a lot better

I thought SketchUp is the easiest

Is game maker terrain editor 2 free? If so, where would I find it?

Just google it...
What I found is that Google chrome or any other browser can block it, thinking it's malware...

How do u export terrain in that program? It seems to only save as game maker file format?

How do u export terrain in that program? It seems to only save as game maker file format? You export as OBJ format to fragmotion(or prefered other software), set x, y and z scale to 10 and export to .x format. You replace the .x files in the rigidbody you use as terrain. Edit: remember to copy the texture files from the objexport folder to your rigidbody terrain folder.

OK cool, I actually have a obj sketchup importer plugin, is it possible to make one texture for the whole land? It separated the terrain into 5 textures.
This program looks promising for my pod racer game.

This program looks promising for my pod racer game. It's certainly possible, but I don't think you can do it in the software itself. I think you have to do some stuff in photoshop(or whatever) to combine the textures and then reapply the texture in an UV mapper. Never done it myself though.

Man that terrain program is awesome! I made this terrain in program, painted texture right on surface, then I exported a Color map for the texture, and exported height map, Then using plugin got the heightmap converted to 3d in sketchup, then projected the color map onto the model, and exported to 3drad! (I then bump mapped texture)
