So boys and girls
When trying to run 3drad v5.2 i got an error finally that said d3drm.dll is missing on my computer, this is related to Direct X which is up to date on my computer.
So i googled "win7 and missing d3drm.dll" and found a fix that actually got 3drad v5.2 to to work
.
What you do is on win7 copy d3drm.dll from your windows/system32 folder and place a copy in your windows home directory ie c:/windows , also place a copy in your 3drad v5.2 home directory where the 3drad.exe is installed.
YOU MUST REBOOT before test running 3drad v5.2 .
3dradnet.exe direct download from my dropboxA few things to note, run the config.exe program first to set usable display resolutions.
Load the default_.prj for initial testing, if it doesn't load by default.
If there is no (exit) element in the list editor, i HIGHLY recommend you add the "EXIT. Exit on any key press (typically used in cut-scene projects).ele" found under >elements>reskit01 subfolder, this will simply allow the test or compiled project to exit on any keystroke.
These projects don't close properly without this element or a script command to exit the project, this mite be a win7 or later issue.
Also NOTE: older 3drad's projects run in full screen only mode, when tested with [F5] or when compiled and run in low resolution max being 1024x768 32bit, you may even get windows popping up a windows optimum resolution notice ...
I'm on win7 64bit 1680x1050 22" display, and it ran fine.
If you have dual monitors, i'm pretty sure it will only display on the main monitor in full screen..
If you run into an issue give me a shout and i'll see what i can do..
If it's help with your project like a scripting issue or what have you... it's literally been years since i used this version so i may not know off hand, or may not be willing to figure it out for you either. [see the help files

One other thing, the included help files are HTML based, and i have a slightly edited version that includes some of the original on-line help files from the old 3drad.com site (2004ish era) , not included with the download.
If anybody wants the extra help files, i can zip them up and add a link, let me know. ( they are meant to over-write the original help files so 3drad will properly load the edited version in your default browser when you click help in 3drads list editor).
ALSO FOR YOUR OWN PIECE OF MIND, VIRUS SCAN THE FILES BEFORE USING THEM.
