I detected your mistake... You're using HUGE sphere for the bumper... When you check that option, it makes a sphere FROM THE CENTER which has radius 32m . So your sphere starts from the center of the car, not from the bumper... and this causes lags, slow driving etc... FIX: Do you use sketchup? Easy... Place a box in a group that fills the whole bumper, hide the bumper and export as dynamic rigidbody (only the box... and make sure that it's pure box, no triangles, no extra verticies)... Refresh 3D Rad and done... just try...

Sorry, never tried it yet. What do you mean when you say to make the box "fill" the bumper? I don't use Sketchup a lot and haven't used 3D rad for a while due to a broken computer, so I'm a little rusty.

Open SketchUp...
First, make a box 1x1x1 m... Make it a group... Move it in the middle of your bumper... Scale it in the three directions until your bumper gets covered... Hide the bumper... Export the box as dynamic rigid...
Go to rad and refresh your bumper rigidbody... Test!
Done...

so, do I overwrite the bumper with the box?

I did that, and it's still not working... I don't know what I'm doing wrong... when the bumper hits the rigidbody, it just spazzes out until I stop touching it. Should I upload the new file?

Link your bumper model from sketchup...

I saved the box file over the bumper. Was I supposed to?
Sorry if I'm a bit annoying.

You MUST hide the bumper... delete it, but don't save your file... just pure box to remain... pure box... delete your bumper in the box... then export the box as dynamic rigid, go to rad and change the bumper rigid to the box...

Was I supposed to use the dynamic sphere and scale it to the correct size? Or should I have scaled it in sketchup? Also, was I supposed to center the box at the axis as well in sketchup?
