Hi, everyone I have been working on this project for some time and its about time I told you about it. It will be a Space shooter, trading, exploration game along the lines of Elite Dangerous but of course it could not be as big or as grand as it. There is a lot more to do with the look, game play and number of objects in the game. I have done scripts for the trading part of the game and the galaxy data.
It has already been a massive job, probable explains why I havn't been here much lately. At this point there will be no landing on any planets as procedural planet building is a little beyond 3DRAD ability.
nice . looking forward to finished game. I like the textures on the space station . looks grungy and worn, like its been there for a long time. I also dig the scale of the game. I couldnt achieve that size of scale with caged photon. good job.
Hi Kulu, Thanks, I was looking for the grunge look it worked well. Even the space ship in the bay has the grunge look I am sure that any future of space exploration that the ships and space stations would end up looking a little grungy as time passes. The scale works well if you don't go to far as the 32bit processing doesn't help. All the on screen shaking of the space craft is caused by it.
This is an old demo and contains a vortex that may be hard to negotiate, just steer the craft towards 0x and 0y and you should get through. Once your through you can fly anywhere but get away from the Sun as soon as possible. I have changed a lot of stuff since then.
