Hello all
Im developing , what will hopefully be a 'fake' ragdoll system. Ive copied a script from a 3d rad sample project called "skinmeshbonecontrol"
I was quite blown away by this project sample , as it allows for the control of a specific bone in a rigged skinmesh. I then changed some of the script from bone orientation control to bone location control. My only problem now is that I can seem to control the bone at the desired xyz axis. in other words when the bone is sappossed to fall down , it goes left. when its sappossed to go forward it goes down. Im guessing I have to get the local or global axis of the
bone right , but I failed to get the proper scripting command to specify the axis of transformation.
Ive attached the script file and the test mesh Im using for this experiment. If anyone can help , I would be thankful. And maybe we can build a 'fake' liquid simulation for 3d rad. which is what I want to go for with this experiment. I actually want to create 'fake' lava-flow . okay thanks. I know the collective knowledge of this forum is like sending a giant after a peon , but this peon is giving me a hard time.

i just found the 3D rad script reference page. will look in there for a solution.

Got the project to work by changing the orientation of my skinmesh's bones inside of blender. So befor i export the .x file , i needed to change the orientation of the bones. when i looked at it in blender , it didnt make sense ( mesh was facing up , but the bones were orientated horizontally, 90 degrees from the mesh ) . "take that peon!!"

Got the project working . can be viewed or downloaded at :

left and right arrow keys to rotate the grey box.... try or dont try to spill the liquid.
Im calling it the slime simulation, because it seems like slimy goo , instead of water.
