Before i get started.i know alot of people have had difficuly exporting blender into 3drad and others as well well this little tidbit ought to be pretty helpful
Works with converting
Blender
Make human
Havent tried it else where
Ok so first for blender and makehuman
Export your model as.DAE Collada model
Then load it up in fragmotion the in fragmotion rexport it as .FBX model then reopen up the .FBX you just made an rexport that into a DirectX or .X file then open sketchup and export the startup model so it makes the folder then put the direct X over the mesh_000.X and replace the mesh file annnd done
Example
My character is Z
In sketup export something as a skinmesh and name it Z
Then go into blender or makehuman and export the actual model as a collada model
Then open up fragmotion and rexport you model as Z.FBX
After that open up. Z.FBX in fragmotion and rexport it.
Once all this is done go into your 3drad folder/3drad res/objects/skinmesh/data find the folder named Z
and replace the file Mesh_000.X with Z.X and change The name of Z.X to Mesh.000.X and after that the MODEL alone should be functioning in 3drad...
For textures you will need all of the texture files to be a .JPG for best results
Open up your DIRECT X file (example: Z.X) in fragmotion then click WINDOWS and click on the SCHEMA PANE once it opens go to the bottom of the window and you will see smoothing groups and textures and materials so now go to one of the textures right click it and select open texture then find the file with the matching name and open it then drag and drop that texture on to its corresponding material and then click on the smoothing groups and find which one that texture goes to then drop the material onto said group and it should appear and there you have it
Well i hope this was helpful i know it sounds complicated but i assure you its quite easy once youve once it once or twice
If you need any help with it lemme know and i would be more than happy to assist
