Hi, guys...
It seems that you liked the treasure chest contest, which was great... Now we have another one...
This one's theme has to be Broken house. With interior... This detail modelling challenge is a little bit harder than the previous one, but this is a challenge... Don't forget that we're all developing our skills while doing contests...
I know that some of you may ask: "But why it has to be broken house? Why isn't it just a house?"... Broken houses have a lot of details... Modern houses usually don't have a lot of details because their design tends to be minimalistic... But broken houses have a lot details that make the scene very surrealistic... Most of the triple AAA games feature broken houses (horror games, adventure games) because of their surrealistic feel...
Requirements:
You can use any modelling software, but SketchUp is recommended...
You can use any type of renderer (Blender, Unity, 3D Rad, 3DS Max etc.)
It's recommended for you to use original textures... The way you do this is by going outside, taking your phone / camera out, shooting and then editing into Photoshop or whatever you use... But if you don't want to do this, you can just use a royalty-free / no copyright textures...
You have to send:
Images of the model without texturing (minimum 1)
Images of the model with texturing (minimum 2)
Images of the model rendered (minimum 1)
Do images in angled view, not front, left, right etc...
Do not show off your work on the forum before the end!
Send your work to the following e-mail:
E-mail: 3dradforum@gmail.com
End date: 5 June 2016 (extended)
Disclaimer: Date extensions may apply
Can I see more participants than the previous contest? Join now and give your VERY BEST!
Take the time to model the house, then take the time to texture it... And then take the time to find the best shots that you can do, the best lighting that you can do and then render... The final image is very important as it will affect the voting after...
Don't do a big house... Do a little house, but make it detailed and cinematic...
If you don't know what is a broken house for apparent reasons, well, google knows it... Just type in "broken house" and you will be full of ideas...
Good luck! I am looking forward to your entries!
Disclaimer: It seems that the voting is messing your head up... The both answers are "I will participate" and they are not mistaken... Chose one of the two if you will participate... I don't want any posts asking for it anymore... Don't distract the contest with stupid questions...
