I think a simple Yes/No Answer may not be able to cover what can be achieved. While I understand that We're looking for Very realistic graphics, I think that even with 3drad in question, there's no one definite, single answer. Consider these screens from a level I was working on in 3drad last year. Now I don't mean to say that these are the best you can do in 3drad, If you remember Dragon Mission from the old Forums, and that Running game that someone was working on (Can't remember who). Those Had some fantastic visuals IMHO The Bottom line is that with some trickery and clever art design (Textures, Custom Shaders, appropriate scene setups) We can achieve things that 3drad would never have been thought possible of achieving.

hawk is completely right... 3D Rad is so bad not only because it's not supported, but also because it's users are mostly newbies... This is the truth... It's the modelling that matters... First, you have to know how to make a scene like this one properly... Then you have to know what shaders to apply... And how to properly use the lightmapping... 3D Rad has poor rendering, but with a little bit of hard work and professionalism it can get pretty close to the scene...

At the end of the road, everything depends on the artist.

Google some articles on how AAA-grade games are done. For example GTA5 post rendering: www.adriancourreges.com/blog/2015/11/02/gta-v-graphics-study/Look at some of scenes with no shaders/bumpmaps/lightmaps etc. You'll find out that only difference between GTA5 and GTA3 is polycount on models. So "devil is in the details" and theres a lot of them [edit] here's 12 year old screens made in 3drad 5.2:

I was thinking, how many of you guys would be willing to have a competition / exhibition of sorts, to see who can make a scene that closely resembles a scene from another engine? Something like what Mike had on the old forums.
Tell me what you guys think and let's proceed about planning out a nice little contest

You have a nice idea... I've already done something like this before you came... It's called Image Recreation, but now we can add images different than real... I mean, I will continue the Image Recreation, but you all can suggest scenes for recreation...

I was thinking about making a tech demo for 3D RAD. With the best 3D rad can give.

I was thinking about making a tech demo for 3D RAD. With the best 3D rad can give. I suggest you call it something else tho, because the tech powering ol'RAD is pretty old and outdated now. I propose "Creative Demo" or something of the sort, because you would be employing all sorts of different tricks and hacks to achieve the best that 3drad can offer.
Although renaming the demo would make it difficult to convey the idea we want to put across to any potential user, so I guess we'll need to put both in the title

Creative Demo sound good.....for a solo work Though i was thinking about something we create together. Gathering the best of 3D rad and put it in one single video, or game.

I think 3DRad can achieve this. It is just a lot harder.

3d rad cannot for normal do anything with so much good graphics, but we can make it do it.For example, rigidbody cannot render properly, but you could use a skinmesh on top of it with different shaders and reflection rate and bump textures, etc. It makes it look good!

If you do use proper shaders and good models, 3D Rad renders pretty good...
